As an organization, SW Nu-Stop believes that addiction is an incurable disease characterized by habitual and abusive use of alcohol and/or other mind alerting substances. These substances interfere with the person’s mental and physical health, family life, interpersonal relations, financial occupational, and social functioning. And, although it is a life taking disease, it is treatable and therefore, recovery is a realistic treatment goal for any client.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services for Chemical Dependency at Nu-Stop encompass a total of 10 hours of treatment per week, and is uniquely designed for those individuals who require a highly structured clinical environment. Our treatment sessions are approximately three hours in duration, and participants attend treatment at a frequency of three days per week. Nu-Stop’s IOP Program emphasizes the importance of behavioral change, and provides participants with a wide range of therapeutic supports commonly viewed as essential to any successful recovery process.
