Theresa Reid, Chief Operating Officer

As COO, Mrs. Reid has strategic and operational responsibility for all SouthWest Nu-Stop Recovery and Educational Center (SWNSREC) programs and manages key functional operations directors:  Human Resource, Finance, Transportation and Support Staff.  As the chief officer of SWNSREC she provides leadership in the strategic planning process and implements new strategic initiatives.  In addition, Theresa provides coordination with the executive team and serves as a liaison with key company partners and Board of Directors to keep them abreast of strategies and challenges.

 

In her role, as COO, Mrs. Reid assists the CEO in cultivating existing relationships with public and private funders.  Her passion and commitment to servant leadership, enables her to be quite affective in this roll.  It is that very passion that enables a collaborative, motivational and successful relationship with the heads of all the pertinent functional areas of SWNSREC.  Given her 30 plus years of social services experience and her academic accomplishments, which includes a Master’s Degree in Human Services, Mrs. Reid is a critical asset and key player in actualizing the mission, as well as realizing the vision of SWNSREC.

 

 

 

Patricia McGarvey, Clinical Director

Ms. Pat McGarvey’s role as Clinical Director is both administrative and clinical.   She is ultimately responsible and accountable for overseeing all of the day-to-day clinical service delivery operations of the SouthWest Nu-Stop Recovery and Educational Center (SWNSREC).   This includes providing direct supervision to the Clinical Directors and Supervisors.   Pat evaluates, develops and implements all clinical programming.   She indemnifies the daily structure and overall integrity of the agency and its operations, given her in depth knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements, among other logistical necessities.

 

Pat is committed to assuring SWNSREC provides the highest quality of services for all its members, as she provides leadership in carrying out SWNSREC mission to empower all members to reach their full potential and realize their dreams and aspirations.   Pat’s combined 25 plus years of clinical experience and her M.A. in Psychology are notable accomplishments, but the real benefit she brings to SWNSREC is intangible, but equally noteworthy.   For Pat undoubtedly provides effective and inspiring leadership by being actively involved in all clinical programs and services and applying her broad and deep knowledge of the behavioral health industry, from a position of compassion.
