

Alumni Association
The mission of SouthWest Nu-Stop Recovery and
Educational Center (SWNSREC)Alumni Association
is to offer support and be an example for individuals in
treatment, those who have completed treatment, and
the community at large. This mission will be carried
out through communication and activities that unify and
support recovery.
The Alumni Association is comprised of graduates
and pending graduates (aftercare) of SWNSREC within
which a core group of members will be elected amongst
themselves to fulfill certain obligations such as;
chairperson, secretary, treasurer etc.
Activities of the Alumni Association may include:

Fundraisers
-
Members sharing their experiences in groups

Social events
-
Information sharing
-
Activities planning
-
Coordination of new members.

Graduation ceremonies.
If you are in aftercare, completed treatment and/or graduated and are interested in having a support group and being a voice of recovery in the community, then come and be a part of the SWNSREC Alumni Association. It is so rewarding playing a role in assisting others through their journey towards a Nu-life!
The Alumni Association meets every Monday evening at 6:00PM at our Southwest location: 5616 Woodland Avenue.
