Alumni Association

The mission of SouthWest Nu-Stop Recovery and

Educational Center (SWNSREC)Alumni Association

is to offer support and be an example for individuals in

treatment, those who have completed treatment, and

the community at large.  This mission will be carried

out through communication and activities that unify and

support recovery.

The Alumni Association is comprised of graduates

and pending graduates (aftercare) of SWNSREC within

which a core group of members will be elected amongst

themselves to fulfill certain obligations such as;

chairperson, secretary, treasurer etc.

Activities of the Alumni Association may include:

  • Fundraisers

  • Members sharing their experiences in groups

  • Social events

  • Information sharing

  • Activities planning

  • Coordination of new members.

  • Graduation ceremonies.

If you are in aftercare, completed treatment and/or graduated and are interested in having a support group and being a voice of recovery in the community, then come and be a part of the SWNSREC Alumni Association.  It is so rewarding playing a role in assisting others through their journey towards a Nu-life!

The Alumni Association meets every Monday evening at 6:00PM at our Southwest location:  5616 Woodland Avenue.
